Evidence Vault

A Pinecone-backed vector index that holds every ingested document, every emitted signal, and every trade record — queryable by semantic search and stitched into the audit trail.

Overview

The Evidence Vault is the long-term memory of the threat engine. Every fact the forager pulls, every signal the Adjudicator clears, and every threat record lands here. It is the first place the Diary, the Skeptic, and your compliance team look when they need to reconstruct “why did we flag that?”

What it stores

Ingested documents

Filings, transcripts, prepared remarks, wire stories, and tiered social posts — with source, tier, fetch time, and integrity hash.

Signals & verdicts

Every emitted signal plus the Skeptic verdict that cleared (or vetoed) it, with rationale and the candidate facts considered.

Diary entries

Original thesis, Day-1 conditions, exit policy, and every distillation verdict — per ticker, per portfolio.

Threat records

Every threat signal, every stop-loss alert, every thesis-drift flag — linked back to the evidence that cleared it.

Source tiers

Each artefact is tagged with a source tier. The Skeptic uses tier directly when deciding whether the 2-source rule has been met.

Tier 1 — Filings (8-K, 10-K, 10-Q)Tier 1 — Exchange dataTier 1 — Central bank statementsTier 2 — Wires (Bloomberg, Reuters)Tier 2 — Earnings calls (transcript + audio)Tier 2 — Sell-side consensusTier 3 — Curated socialTier 3 — Industry blogsTier 3 — Forums (whitelisted)
