Interface

The Telumin app

Telumin is a keyboard-driven, dark-only terminal built for engineer-investors and analyst desks. Watchlists, signal feed, Investment Diary, Backtest Lab, and trade record — designed like Bloomberg, priced like infrastructure.

Telumin Plus Philosophy

The terminal is the primary interface for managing watchlists, reviewing verified signals, writing thesis entries in the Investment Diary, and reviewing the trade record produced by the execution workflows. It is a professional workstation — every interaction is optimised for speed, density, and reproducibility.

Keyboard-first

Every action has a keyboard shortcut. Run a rebalance, log a thesis, or review a trade without touching your mouse.

Dark only

No light mode. Severity colours — red (stop), amber (drift), emerald (entry), zinc (info) — carry meaning.

High density

Compact ticker grids, tabular numerals, and collapsible panels keep the watchlist, signal feed, and trade record visible at once.

Multi-Monitor Layout

The terminal supports three canonical layouts for different workflow contexts. Switch between them with the layout picker in the top-right toolbar.

Operator — Single wide panel

Default

Full-width main panel with a collapsible alert tray on the right. Best for the Investment Diary, single-watchlist review, and Backtest Lab. Optimised for laptop screens.

Left panelNavigation sidebar (collapsible)
Main panelActive view (watchlists / signals / diary / backtests)
Right trayAlert tray (collapsible, Shift+A)

Watchlist — Split 60/40

Left column shows the live signal feed (all watchlists, ranked by severity and confidence). Right column shows the selected signal evidence or trade record. Best for a 27"+ primary monitor.

Left (60%)Signal feed — real-time, ranked
Right (40%)Detail pane — signal / trade / diary
Bottom barStatus strip — monitoring status, last signal, queue depth

Command — Tri-panel

Three equal columns: signal feed, signal evidence reader, and portfolio drift summary. Designed for a dual-monitor setup or a single ultrawide (34"+).

Column 1Live signal feed
Column 2Active signal / trade record reader
Column 3Portfolio drift & trailing-stop status

Persisted layout

Your layout choice is saved per account. Switching between workstations restores your last layout automatically.

Keyboard Shortcuts

The terminal is fully keyboard-navigable. Press ? at any time to open the shortcut reference overlay.

Column Customisation

The signal feed and watchlist grids are fully configurable. Right-click any column header to add, remove, or reorder columns. Changes persist across sessions.

Signal feed columns

  • Severity (default)
  • Ticker
  • Direction (long / short / hold)
  • Confidence score
  • Source count (verified)
  • Skeptic verdict
  • Time detected
  • Linked watchlist

Watchlist columns

  • Ticker (default)
  • Position (default)
  • Drift % vs target
  • Trailing stop level
  • Diary entry status
  • Last signal
  • Day-1 conditions intact?
  • Next scheduled rebalance

Alert Tray

The alert tray (Shift+A) is a persistent side panel that surfaces unacknowledged signals in priority order. It remains visible across navigation — you never lose context when drilling into a signal detail.

Stop / Thesis Drift

Trailing stop hit, Day-1 condition broken, or Skeptic-vetoed re-entry. Shown at top with pulsing indicator and never suppressed by quiet hours.

Drift / Rebalance Due

Portfolio drifted past target band, scheduled rebalance pending, or watchlist threshold breach. Grouped by watchlist.

Informational

Backtest completed, signal published, broker reconciliation finished. Can be muted per category.

Bulk acknowledge

Hold Shift and click to select multiple alerts, then press A to acknowledge the group.

Signal & Trade Record Reader

The reader opens as a full-panel overlay (Shift+S) with structured sections: Executive Summary, Pipeline Trace, Source Evidence, Quant Context, and Trade Record.
